Working for Sanders Honey Company, she learned to manage hives, handle queens with bare hands, and teach her community about the importance of pollinators, all while overcoming an allergy that once made bees intimidating. Her willingness to face challenges head on shaped her into a national proficiency winner and inspired her future goal of running a small beekeeping operation of her own.
