Hannah Shaw, a recent graduate of Central Aroostook High School in Mars Hill, Maine, describes her SAE experiences in vegetable production and ag communications within Maine's potato industry. She explains that she worked on a potato farm, sorted on a conveyor belt, and drove a potato truck, as well as writing articles and interviewing growers for the Maine Potato Board. She also discusses the family members and FFA activities that supported her, her record-keeping practices, and how the work ethic she gained will help her future career.
