Jhunneil Gayo and Zyrelle Temporal redesigned a nutrient film technique hydroponic system by experimenting with slope angles and monitoring the growth of romaine lettuce. Inspired by a past attempt that had failed, they improved the concept through careful testing and revived the idea with stronger results. Their advisor encouraged them to pursue the project, and working through challenges together strengthened both their skills and their friendship.
