Watch the Prepared Public Speaking awards live Thursday, October 22, at 10 a.m. ET. In this event, FFA members research and write an original speech on a current agricultural issue, deliver it from memory, and then answer questions from the judges. The awards program recognizes the state winners who competed at the national level, celebrating their research, writing, and delivery. The top speakers advance to the finals at noon, and the national winner will be announced on stage during Session 3 on Thursday evening.
